IQ70 Plus
IQ70 plus also known as ‘建安家福‘ (Jian An Jia Fu) is an non-profit organization named after the owner’s late mentally challenged son. The owner opened up this home at Jalan Gasing as he hopes to help more mentally challenged people in the society. They focus on helping people from poor family backgrounds as well as mentally challenged children from a single parent family. IQ70plus operates fully by donations as well as public contributions. With that, we hope to raise funds to help them in their day to day operations.
Two of our committee members had recently visited them and thought that this organization is a suitable beneficiary for this event. These funds will also help them in upgrading their facilities as they had recently expanded their home and will be needing some funds to furnish their new home. Aside from that, the funds will also help them in upgrading their physiotherapy equipments. Severe mentally challenged children will benefit from the physical therapy treatment by physical therapist to prevent from muscular dystrophy due to long term inactiveness.
Moreover, these funds can help the centre to bring in more educational activities and therapy to help these mentally challenged children. With these, they might also get learning opportunities in special school as well as skills to be a more independent individual.
